Whilst we are fairly relaxed, we’ve had to put some ground rules in place.
In signing up for one of our rides you agree to our terms and conditions below. All of the below do not affect your statutory rights under English law.
Disclaimer
Cycling can be a hazardous activity. Whilst we take reasonable steps to minimise risk, there is a chance that you may come off your bike. We are not liable for any loss or damage as a result of participating in one of our tours.
Cancellation
Whilst we will make every effort to run our events, in some cases not exclusively including , force majeure (acts of nature, war and apocalypse), lack of numbers, guide illness or injury and bad weather we may have to cancel one of our rides. In such cases you will be eligible for a 100% refund.
There are no refunds if you decide to cancel or not turn up for a ride, however you may transfer your place onto another ride as long as there is sufficient space and you give us 14 days notice.
Medical disclosure
When you sign up for our events we will ask you to fill in a medical disclosure form. We need to know if you have any medical condition that may affect you whilst you are on a ride or if the worse happens whilst we are guiding you. This information will only be shared with emergency services.
Kit requirements
It is your responsibility to be adequately clothed and equipped for your ride.
Our minimum kit requirements are:
- A suitable cycling helmet,
- Gloves,
- Waterproof,
- A drink and the ability to carry it.
- A suitable bicycle that is in good working order. We recommend a minimum of 32 mm tyre width.
We will do a kit check prior to commencement of our rides. This is not only to satisfy our insurers, but to minimise risk whilst out on the ride. We also recommend that you bring some cash for the inevitable cafe stop.
Please ensure that your bike is in good working order prior to the ride. Having a mechanical problem whilst you are out is not only embarrassing, but spoils the ride for you and other participants.
We reserve the right to refuse your participation in a ride if you do not have suitable equipment and you will not be eligible for a refund.
The Route
We reserve the right to amend the route so it is suitable for the groups riding skills and capabilities and the weather conditions.
Insurance
Whilst we have public liability insurance, we recommend that you take out suitable travel insurance for our rides and events.
