Why Guided ?
We’ve been riding in the Peak District for over 30 years. It’s our back yard and we know the area like the back of our hands.
Gravel bike riding is about enjoying the environment you are travelling through, not fretting about if you’ve gone the right way and stopping every few minutes to check the map. By using our guiding services we take these hassle and strains away meaning you can get on with what you came for – a great day out on your bike.
Come alone or with friends – riding on one of our guided rides is a great way to meet new people and make new friendships.
Let us make the most of your time, look after the navigation, show you our local favourite routes and also, most importantly, some of the areas best cafe’s.
We’re running several guided rides in 2022 on the following dates:
- May 7th
- June 11th
- July 9th
The rides will start from Bakewell railway station at 9.30 and end around 3. The distance covered will be roughly 50-60 km (30-35 miles) depending on the group and weather etc. We’ll be exploring some of our favourite parts of the White Peak. The pace will be sociable and no-one will be left behind. The maximum number of riders will be 6 and the cost will be £30 per person.
You’ll need to bring a suitable bike in good working order (minimum 32 mm tyres), a suitable helmet, gloves, waterproof, a drink, your lunch, and some cash for coffee and cake.
Our guiding rates at other times are:
The distance and general gnarliness of the route will be set on the day depending on the weather conditions and fitness and ability of the group. If you fancy riding one of the routes on this page, that’s great. Fancy us taking you somewhere different – that’s fine too. Please contact us to organise your own private tour for you and your mates.
